CREAMY CAJUN CHICKEN PASTA

CREAMY CAJUN CHICKEN PASTA

A rich, restaurant-style creamy Cajun chicken pasta brought together with Namak Mirch Cajun Seasoning — bold, spicy, and ready in one pan.

Ingredients

  • 250 g / 8 oz pasta of your choice
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (1 tbsp per chicken breast)
  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 ml cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Boil the pasta as per the packet's instructions. Be careful not to overcook it or you'll end up with soggy pasta. Reserve half a cup of pasta water.
  2. Thin out the chicken breasts until they are even in thickness, around 1 inch thick. Season them generously with the Namak Mirch Cajun Seasoning, adjusting the spice to your liking.
  3. In a skillet or pan, heat the oil, add the chicken and sear on both sides on high heat. Once they get a good sear and colour, lower the temperature and cook until done. Cut into thin strips or chunks to serve over the pasta and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the butter and garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the tomato paste and mix for a minute or two. Add the cream and cheese, season with more Cajun seasoning if needed, and let it simmer. Taste and check; if needed, add the hot reserved pasta water to thin out the sauce.
  5. Mix the chicken into the sauce or serve separately. Enjoy!
