A whole, juicy fried chargha bursting with Lahori flavour from Namak Mirch Chargha Masala.

Ingredients

  • 1 full chicken (800 g–1 kg)
  • 4 tbsp Namak Mirch Chargha Masala
  • Juice of 4 lemons
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 litre oil

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken in all the above ingredients except the oil. Let it marinate for 3–4 hours, adding more masala if needed for the marination.
  2. Heat the oil in a big deep pot and deep-fry the chicken until it becomes golden brown.
