BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE
Silky, mild and buttery — a homemade butter chicken made rich with Namak Mirch Butter Chicken Masala, fresh tomato puree and cream.
Ingredients
- 1 kg boneless chicken, cubed
- 12–15 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp Namak Mirch Butter Chicken Masala
- 1 cup yogurt
- 6 tbsp butter
- ½ cup cream
- 4 tbsp oil
Method
- Marinate the chicken in the Namak Mirch Butter Chicken Masala, yogurt, oil and lemon juice and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Separately, chop the tomatoes and cook them with water. Remove their seeds and skin and grind them to a paste.
- In a pan, add the oil and the chicken and stir-fry on high heat. Pour in the tomato puree and butter and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Finally, mix in the cream and stir.
- Garnish with a drizzle of cream and sliced ginger.
