BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE

Silky, mild and buttery — a homemade butter chicken made rich with Namak Mirch Butter Chicken Masala, fresh tomato puree and cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg boneless chicken, cubed
  • 12–15 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Namak Mirch Butter Chicken Masala
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup cream
  • 4 tbsp oil

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken in the Namak Mirch Butter Chicken Masala, yogurt, oil and lemon juice and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Separately, chop the tomatoes and cook them with water. Remove their seeds and skin and grind them to a paste.
  3. In a pan, add the oil and the chicken and stir-fry on high heat. Pour in the tomato puree and butter and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
  4. Finally, mix in the cream and stir.
  5. Garnish with a drizzle of cream and sliced ginger.
