ACHAAR GOSHT RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
-1kg chicken/meat with bones
-1tbsp garlic paste
-1tbsp ginger paste
-8 green chilies
-3tbsp lemon juice
-6-7 medium tomatoes (chopped)
– ½ kg yogurt
–Namak Mirch Achaar Gosht masala (1/2 packet)
– 1/2 cup oil
METHOD:
– Mix 2 tbsp achaar masala with lemon juice. Slit and clean the green chilies and fill them up with the masala and lemon juice mixture.
– Add the chopped tomatoes to 1/4 cup oil and let them cook till soft and mash them completely. Remove.
– In the remaining oil add garlic, ginger, chicken/meat, and Namak Mirch Achaar Gosht masala. Add yogurt and let it cook on high heat for 5 minutes. Add water and let it cook till chicken/meat is tender.
– Add the tomato mixture and stir fry on high heat for 5 minutes. Place the chilies in the gravy and turn the heat to low and cook till you see the oil rise on top.
